So for my first post, I thought since it is nearly Christmas that I would share my awesome gingerbread house from a few years ago. I made the ginderbread from scratch (the package of gingerbread cookie mix is for cookies for the kids to decorate) I did run out of gringerbread and since I didn't want to make a trip to the store I made the last wall with graham crackers. I used jellybelly beans for the chimney and dyed coconut yellow for the thatched roof. I did use cans and boxes as support to help the icing set as it dried. I think that it turned out pretty great. I am thinking about trying Cinderella's caste next!
